Glass Antenna Turns Windows Into 5G Base Stations - IEEE Spectrum
(spectrum.ieee.org)
This is a most excellent place for technology news and articles.
5G has some security improvements, making it harder to track and spoof people's phones. It also supposedly offers lower latencies.
Well, actually, 5G was weakened so they could still spy.
Can you provide some sources that support this claim?
Weird, there was a huge hubub in german tech news at that time but now i only find hints and references, like how secret services were part of the boards, etc., while englisch terms search only spits garbage.
Well, here's about weaknesses in 5G, like downgrade & stingray attaks etc.

And (german) about the boards, that maybe end-to-end in 6G.

edit: finally found some more direct hints (german)

Is this improvement enough to justify massive expense taxpayers incurred to fund telcos CapEx?
It also reuses old 2G/3G bands to allow much much higher throughput and therefore more customers per band
