TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Trial began Tuesday in Florida for four activists accused of illegally acting as Russian agents to help the Kremlin sow political discord and interfere in U.S. elections.

All four are or were affiliated with the African People’s Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement, which has locations in St. Petersburg, Florida, and St. Louis. Among those charged is Omali Yeshitela, the 82-year-old chairman of the U.S.-based organization focused on Black empowerment and the effort to obtain reparations for slavery and what it considers the past genocide of Africans.

Crimes seem to be in the eye of the beholder nowadays

IMO: Political tribalism, to be more exact.

The owner-class and their lackeys will get away with much more when we compare the working class being sent to jail, 13th Amendment and all.

Thirteenth Amendment

Section 1

Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

Section 2

Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.^[[1] https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-13/]

Just gotta make that servitude “voluntary,” with debt.

True.

IMO: People bash China for their alleged "Social Credit System," but in the US we have a credit score system and many other government agencies that are there to collect our data; it all seems like wishful thinking while also following the status quo talking points, so the American people don't pay attention to what our politicians and those in power are doing to the working class.

Well, in the US it’s all about how likely you are to repay your debt. Not, like, how many times you heil Xi or avoid eye contact with Pooh bears (I joke) (or do I?)

Yes, playing the game how they want you to will keep you in the safe area.

If you follow the free speech news and the political tribalism in the US, you would see that we do not differ that much with the China calims being said.

It seems like every day we get closer to what negative things we say about other foreign nations.
