Human life begins at some point after conception but before birth. Therefore, there comes a point in pregnancy at which abortion ends a human life.
I don't think most people disagree with this. I think my country's law draws the line at 3 months for general abortions without health reasons. Other countries do have it similar. Only the weird authoritarian countries are banning it. And I don't know of any country that loosens the rules.
My country recently changed it from "only if the mother's life is in danger" to "any time in the first three months; after that, the mother's life must be in danger".
Maybe I'm just terminally online, and most people have more detailed opinions than one normally sees on social media.
I think online the topic has broadly fallen into either “no abortion ever” or “abortion is always okay” and most people’s opinion falls somewhere in between.
Like, I think most people would agree that abortion the day a baby is due is wrong and most believe that abortion the day after conception is okay
