My classmates just used unholy amounts of toilet paper, like the almighty intended.
Ugh. MacGyvering a pad out of shitty school-issue single-ply TP is a rite of passage that I really hope we can do away with. Free menstrual products in schools would've been amazing when I was a kid!
... then going to gym class and having the PE teacher mock you for not doing laps fast enough while you're worrying about your "pad" either chafing or going on walkabout...
