Aw, poor sweetie. I hope she's not too scared and that she finds a wonderful and loving new forever home that works for her. I'm glad she seems to be in good hands.
You may want to look up Mouser brand cat food. If I remember correctly, it was created by someone who had the same thoughts. I don't know how healthy it is or anything, but I think it's a neat idea...even though I feel bad for the poor little critters put into it.

This was a great article. Thank you for sharing it with us! It sounds like the author and I had similar upbringings, and then similar journeys of un-learning what we were taught, realizing what was and wasn't true, etc. This article put a lot of things into words that I'm not quite able to.
