Yeah I can see a treadmill being extremely boring. I usually ride and run outside, but I had to ride on a trainer for a couple of weeks because of an injury and it was just awful. I couldn't wait to be done. But when I'm outside sometimes I'll extend my ride for another 10km just because the weather is nice and I feel good, I'm (almost) never in a rush to finish.

I don't think I could run on a treadmill either, at least outside I have short goals to reach (ok now to the next lamp post...)

Why would anyone use Threads?

I have only good experience with Logitech mice, except one time with Performance MX, but I got it replaced for a new one without issues.

I've had a G502 and G403 wireless for years now and they've been solid.

What's your experience?

What length exactly are we talking about here? The length does impact Display Port and HDMI a bit at higher resolutions and refresh rates, but just make sure the cable lists whatever you need, you can buy 5m DisplayPort cables which will support 4K 144Hz and more. For HDMI they make optical cables for longer cables, I have a 10m HDMI cable which supports 4K 144Hz, but I couldn't get even 4K 30 over 10m of cheap HDMI cable (that one only supported 1080p 60).

Even moving the mouse and windows around and scrolling is more enjoyable on 120Hz. Yes, it makes single player games a better experience as well.

But you're right, you get used to lower refresh rate as well.

It's eye candy, it's more enjoyable to play. Will it make you a better player? Debatable, probably not really, but it's still fun and looks amazing.

Juat go for it. I'm running a 2080 with a 4K 1440Hz monitor and it runs ok, and when it doesn't, I can reduce the details or enable DLSS or something. 3060Ti should be perfectly fine for 3440x1440.

But then again it really depends on the games you play, if you're currently struggling to keep 60fps at 1080p, then it's gonna run worse on bigger resolution of course. And there are benefits of the larger display and higher resolution outside of games as well.

Don't get a 1080p 29", it's gonna be overall smaller than two 24" monitors, an ultra wide 29" is the same height as 24", just wider, but not twice as wide.

Kinda overkill if you'll be reusing it yourself anyway. I'd understand if you gave it away or sold it.

I was considering 6700XT for 1440p 144Hz, so for 1080p it will be plenty of power.

I only really use Instagram to follow the local gravel cycling scene, if that's not on pixelfed, then it's not useful to me. But thanks, I didn't know it existed and I'll check it out.

200€ for Decathlon Elops Speed 500, and another 100-ish for the lock, front rack, fender, lights. But now I can keep my bike inside the office, so I just ride my gravel bike.
