USA: Spanish, you'll probably find some people.

Norway: Very common that English is a second language. Throughout daily life, Norwegian is spoken, but you should have no problem speaking English and making some friends in Norway.

I’m nothing without them is something I hear a lot. I’m useless. Why can’t I just be normal is another thing they ask. When I forget to do things, I’m a selfish, lazy asshole who’s personally attacking them.

Gracias. I’m also studying my heritage language and I wanna study French though, so it’s mainly Spanish and Norwegian I’ve narrowed it down to

Good question. Mainly self-expression and learning/challenging myself to think and communicate in a different language. I'm a very weird language enthusiast.

I could learn French and write in French. I'm pretty decent in Portuguese. I'm learning Spanish, and I'm learning to get better at my childhood language due to heritage which is Norwegian. Which of these should I write captions in and get a better grasp of, since I can't decide myself?

Hi. I don't know where to post this, so I decided to post on this community on Lemmy. If I posted on Reddit, I'd probably get shit on or they'd delete my post because it keeps saying "removed by filters".

Anyway, I'm not asking for a 100% diagnosis and I will tell a medical professional.

So, I suddenly started feeling disorganized thoughts and started thinking illogically. This does happen sometimes. If I were to talk to someone, I'd have very impulsive, emotional behaviors and I would definitely say things I normally wouldn't say otherwise. I'm trying to calm down from it and talk about it because I WILL explode if I bottle it up.

I will feel really energetic and happy like I have recently, full of ideas but unsure where to start. It does sorta feel like my ADHD due to not being able to focus and not doing things that are "boring" or too analytical.

Well, then I started having some pretty bad intrusive thoughts. I couldn't shake the feeling, though I knew it didn't logically make sense, that everyone was acting weird and was trying to hurt me. Sometimes, when people change their tone or act weird, I think I'm in a different dimension, one of the things my brain tries to convince me.

There was one time I really felt motivated and thought I could be like Indiana Jones.

One time, about 2 years ago, I was going through a rough period and I think I'd gotten diagnosed with bipolar later in that year. Well, I can't tell if it's anxiety, mania, or psychosis signs, but I genuinely couldn't shake the feeling that my friends acting different was because they'd been replaced by aliens or I was sent to some sort of dimension/universe where my friends didn't exist and had been replaced by evil people, rather than just the logical conclusion that they were upset, which turned out to actually be that they were cruel pieces of shit, but that's beside the point.

USA: Typically for us, about 7-ish hours, I have to go in the building before classes start before then though, making it about 8 hours. Sometimes, we have half days, but they're pretty rare. We have all our classes, they're just very condensed 4-5 hours.

Here, we start at like 07:00 (Mondays 08:10 or so) and we end at 14:50.

Norway: 6-7 hours apparently, from 08:00-14:00 (2: p.m.) or 15:00. (3 p.m.)

Takk, æ skjønne no

Heisann!

Basically, making a story that takes place in Japan and I want two twin girls to be in the story. These twin girls speak Japanese but are not from Japan and I would make them, say, English if it were in the USA or Portuguese if it were in Brazil, but Japanese is only really spoken in one country. I suppose there are, however, other countries with a large Japanese-speaking population. Maybe they could be Japanese-Brazilians? Grew up with the Japanese language and all, just born and raised in Brazil and came to Japan later in life?

Heisann, æ anta det er fordi Lemmy og Reddit har forskjellige nett-kulterer, men når æ snakke norsk på Reddit, blir innlegget mitt nedstemt... selv på Norge-relaterte subredditene... æ skjønne itj...

Her inne, folk e så snille!!!

Så tusen takk, folkens
