Hello there !

I want to code a little incremental game just for me and some friends, and i started prototyping this in Go (because i know how to use it) but i was thinking that maybe run it in a browser and then use typescript would be better

I have no experience in making games and in javascript, i mostly code for backend and math stuff (my favorite gui is a terminal), and when i need a real gui i use pure html page edited by backend

So i was wondering what would be easier between learning making game in Go, or learning JS/TS for an incremental game (pictures and numbers and text, maybe little animations), and if javascript is still relevant to learn

Thanks !

(Also im a student, so my knowledge of the professional dev world is quite limited, forgive my approximative wording :b)

Go is very nice to use (i think) and well designed for server backends, but honestly, today's python can do approximatively the same with the right librairies, so remake everything with Go might be harder than just optimizing python, + python is way more easy to maintain imas it is used by more people

I wouldn't display this image at work personnaly. It doesn't have to be porn to be nsfw

At 1million i could already stop working and live decent life :/. I really don't get why past 1billion they continue to search for more

In toystory 4, a kid build a toy with trash he found. Some minutes after, the trash pile is alive. The other toys are stunned to see that trash can become a living toy, and even the trash toy wants to die and go to the bin as it thinks it is a trash

In toystory 2, one buzz in supermarket is alive when the main buzz try to steal his belt. Also, buzzes seem to never remember that they are toys, and think they are true space ranger in mission.

They probably gain consciousness once they are manufactured and considered as a toy by someone, with maybe a premade personality human supposed it could have

Toys don't want to be noticed as living. Imagine the reaction from society if they new non organic matter was alive and had a mind. Torture tests from scientists, exploitation, maybe used as weapon or spies, parents won't trust toys to be alone with the kid etc...
