I'm specifically considering the Drakkant Ti. I have a Rockwell 6S but I want something a bit more aggressive. Does anyone have a razor from them? Is it solid quality?

The article specifically says he did not get to try ape sperm on human women. I know it takes away some of the shock value of your post.

New album is fantastic as a whole, but this song is amazing.

Specifically just anti-cheat that chooses not to support Linux at this point.

We can generate AI images, we can generate AI text, but text in an image is a no go?

I can't imagine there is but I'm wondering if I am missing something. I use GeForce Now and unfortunately it does not work in Plasma Wayland (issues with input redirection). Is there any problem with logging into an X11 session whenever I want to use that but using Wayland generally?

Here is what I've compiled so far:

  • Allen & Bright - Christmas Vol. 1 and 2
  • Trevor Gordon Hall - Let Your Heart Be Light
  • Tommy Emmanuel - All I Want For Christmas
  • Tommy Emmanuel - Christmas Memories

Any other recommendations?

So if Google sold its phones at a loss then Epic would have no problem paying the fee? Sure.

The more interesting part of the argument is saying that people will contact Microsoft/Nintendo/Sony for technical support with a game and expect them to help while Apple or Google would send you to the developer.

I think there are two big reasons...

  • During the big Reddit exodus, a lot of people were recommending lemmy.world.
  • It's a general purpose instance. People tend to flock to those rather than more specific topical instances.

While even the artists signed to the major label imprints aren't as popular as some other genres, today's ease of distribution means we have some great independent artists to listen to. What are some you'd like more people to know about?

  • Cauldron Born a cool solo project that puts out some consistently solid US Power Metal. He currently has a new album on indiegogo. Some of his earlier stuff can be a bit rough around the edges so try his newer albums if you're interested.
  • Osyron is a very cool progressive metal group. At least one of the members is active on Reddit.

My laptop is arriving on Monday and I haven't picked a distro yet. I currently use Debian but that is on older hardware. I'm experienced with a lot of distros so I'm a bit flexible here. I was thinking openSUSE for the sake of the latest and greatest AMD drivers, but I do see that Fedora is officially supported while openSUSE is not. Are there any hardware compatibility issues I could expect?

A pretty solid prog metal outfit out of Canada.

For-profit health insurance just makes no sense. This is the expected behavior of a for-profit insurance system.

Holy crap, apple charges $200 to add 8GB of RAM. I just bought 32GB of DDR5 for the Framework I have on order for $95.

Xfce does not get updated often, so by that definition it is the most stable.

It's also pretty stable from the perspective of not crashing, but I can't say I've had much trouble with KDE either.

Well, it would change their experience. They would see improved photo quality to/from Android users via text messages. But Apple has managed to train people to think that Apple's refusal to put iMessage on other devices is somehow a shortcoming of Android.

Cool, now can we get a cheaper plan that just plays music?

There are no circumstances under which I would be okay with it. Including ads means there is a chance that content is removed to appease advertisers.

I will happily donate to my instance once they start accepting donations.

Keyed my car. I'm not kidding. She keyed a message into the side of my car thinking it would get me back.

By the same token, I don't see a big deal about the pronoun choice. Just choose She/Her or He/Him. You don't have to choose They/Their.
