"Bitches" is a slur now?

What do you think censorship is?

If I run a website, do I have to show the content of other websites to my users? If I stop showing another website's content to my users, am I censoring that website? No, I'm just not platforming reactionary garbage.

Generational conservatism moment

Defederation is not censorship. The chuds over at remmy can continue to be chuds, and anyone interested in being a chud can go find them there. No reason for Lemmy.world to allow their garbage to spread over here.

It definitely could use a bit of work on the mobile screen sizes, but it looks very promising!

Hell, I'm a web developer, maybe I'll try to contribute.

Yes and my opinion is that being anti-gay marriage is a shitty opinion that should be criticised.

I actually have had some luck with my therapist setting up a referral for me to try meds, but if that doesn't pan out, I'll look into Klarity.

If you live in the Washington/Oregon area, I have a recommendation for therapy groups to look at as well.

Jellyseerr is great. +1 for it and the *arr apps

Poorly. I manage poorly. Its a constant struggle to not even complete all the tasks I need to. I tried to get medication but was told that I don't "meet diagnostic requirements", because I didn't start really having issues until age 12 or so.

That said, I'm in therapy to find strategies to improve managing my symptoms. Maybe look into therapy with ADHD specialists.

Jellyfin is open sourced and supported by donations. I've used it for around a year and I can confirm there have been no fees, tracking, or anything else.

I have a used Lenovo Thinkcentre mini with an i3-7100T and 16gb RAM. I have Ubuntu server LTS installed on it and I run everything in docker containers.

I host:

  • jellyfin server for my friends and family
  • qbittorrent to download for the JF server(behind a VPN)
  • Jellyseerr for requests
  • Jackett, Sonarr, and Radarr for downloads
  • a Minecraft server
