I use dwarf fortress for this but the learning curve is pretty steep as it can be a bit complex but once you get the hang of it and you have a nice fort up and running, you can kindof let it run in the background like an idle game

I’m super excited about fluxer. An iOS app is all I need before recommending it to my buddies but I am very excited for the self-hosted version
