Seems like it will fulfill its purpose then - to protect said teenager's data.

ChatGPT itself doesn't know where it got the info from, so it makes up links and names - it's a language model, not a search engine.

On the other hand, if you manage to find a reputable source and give it relevant metadata, it can format a nice citation for you, saving you time on that instead.

Remove banners, just make the companies respect the browser setting.

Draw a straight line with GIMP.

Pencil tool, point 1, hold shift, point 2. Is it any easier in Photoshop?

Edit: yes, apparently there is a line tool in Photoshop.

DDG has a built-in option to determine whether you want to see ads or not.

How does it differ from buying a laptop at this point? The price is the same, the capabilities are similar, the form factor can be the same (Fold or tablets in general).

As long as the hardware can keep up with the software, and the manufacturer keeps building products, why should they ever end support? (a la Windows)

Got affected by this, and the Edge literally showed a notification bar on how to disable this (as a user). So, slightly annoying but not too big of an issue as users can opt out right away.

The issue is that they required websites to implement the banner, instead of just implementing a standard (like this one) and letting browsers handle the UI. Imagine just telling your browser once what kind of cookies you are okay with and all websites adhere...

Please let us disable using back button to open the drawer and on next press, then a prompt to exit the app. I want Connect to behave like any other Android app does - exit the app immediately if there is no navigation stack left.

Could be a library or feature that the devs didn't consider worth maintaining on older devices.

For context, the OP appears to be using Android 5 or 5.1, released in 2014/2015 respectively and is used on 1.1-1.3% devices worldwide.

Mis oleks, kui u/sunaurus peaks natuke r/Eesti moderaatoritega nõu, et teha reklaami ja kolida vähemalt osa rahvaga siia? Oleme ju digiriik, inimesed kohanevad muudatustega 😄
