Fantastic game even today. I hogged the family computer so much playing this game. I still occasionally play a campaign. The modding scene is pretty great too and can make the replayability factor huge.

Yea so there is a "season" before what was eventually dubbed and released to the wider world. In the earlier season they are still in school, we get introduced to characters like Joey and Tristan (I think his name is Tristan) and they start out as bullies of Yugi. The card game also doesn't exist in the form we see later and there is a lot of dice involved I think. I randomly came across that season and watched it without knowing it even existed years ago so I could be wrong about some things. It was weird....but it did give context to certain things that as a kid watching the original dubbed season I either didn't understand or just didn't pay attention to.

A word of warning on Linux on Mac though. Oftentimes there can be weird quirks with power management and suspend/hibernate. For a server though I guess that point is moot.

I thought this was taken off of Steam years ago? I remember playing it a bunch and them losing access when it went to the Epic Store. Or at least I thought I did.

I have been busy the last few days and haven't checked out the warbond/patch yet....did you say the hive guards are now heavy armor??

I keep seeing this today but wasn't this done a number of years ago?

Edit: Different versions of DOS (1.25, 4.0 and a couple other versions) was indeed open sourced a number of years ago. But 1.0 was just open sourced a few hours ago which is very cool. So I was right and wrong.
