That is likely a new swarm looking for a home. When an established hive gets too crowded, they will create a new queen who will then fly away with a subset of the workers to establish a new hive.

If you want to make your local beekeeper's club very happy, call them and tell them where this swarm is! They will come and collect it.

Then you get too close and they all scurry away. No little ones, don't go! I won't hurt you! I just want to see you up close.

Trump finally realized Putin has been playing him, with some not-so-subtle help from Melania. Trump did an abrupt about-face on Ukraine policy over the last few days and the US is going to start shipping them weapons again.

I noticed a very minor typo: the login button labeled "I'm already apart of the fediverse" should read "I'm already a part of the fediverse."

Otherwise it was great. The canvas size and cool-down period both felt right. The final artwork looks good. Thanks for putting on the event again!

Heck yeah. I miss my giant orange Coleman. It was ugly, heavy, and slow, but super stable and borderline indestructible.

For example, using absolute numbers from Wikipedia...
South Africa: 27,272
Haiti + Philippines + Ecuador: 28,509

That map would look very different.

You're right that using absolute numbers in the first place is bad practice.

The Catholic press has picked it up, too:

https://www.ncronline.org/news/california-bishops-scramble-tend-catholics-feeling-hunted-ice-agents

There are hints that the current government's actions are widening a cultural rift in the church. Considering how large the Catholic church is, I'm really interested to see how this plays out.

https://www.ncronline.org/news/trumps-immigration-agenda-widening-fissures-catholic-hierarchys-consensus

Growers in the Pacific Northwest are anticipating a strong crop this year, with a higher yield than last year’s harvest. But what they weren’t anticipating was a workforce shortage that’s being driven by the fear of immigration enforcement raids.
...
the fear of potential enforcement activity led to a 50% reduction in available workers for most cherry farmers in the region at the start of harvest

I saw these in the wild, but couldn't get a pic without being a creep.

Yeah, know it's not a shirt. But someone else got away with the same thing two months ago, so I'm gonna take a chance. Mod, do what you feel is right in your heart.

Post inspired by this recent comment about how useful 120 is (or 240 in this case), because its can be evenly divided so many ways: https://sh.itjust.works/post/40842670/19379837
