Hello people I just got my hands on an old PC, and I took it as a sign to finally start my on server. Right now, I'd mostly be looking into running jellyfin since I'm working on a digital music library. On the technical side, I run Mint on my laptop, so I have basic familiarity with Linux. Are there any guides you recommend that will take me through installation of OS to a functional server? Thank you!

Updated it two weeks ago through Aurora, and ever since I cannot send messages, and every message I receive is shown as "waiting for this message". Deleted the app, downloaded the official apk from the website, and it still doesn't work. So I feel it might be something with the OS?

I'm asking what are the scenarios where there is a point to having one, and if there are.

My laptop is off whenever not in use, and obviously doesn't have a sim. Is there any point to get a Faraday Bag for it?

Honestly I wouldn't expect Signal to try and take care of this

PSA: We've received questions about push notifications. First: push notifications for Signal NEVER contain sensitive unencrypted data & do not reveal the contents of any Signal messages or calls–not to Apple, not to Google, not to anyone but you & the people you're talking to.

Doesn't this mean there is nothing to log? You got me confused

It looks like all the current options are just for AC

Hey I need to use one specific public transport app, and it need my location. The thing is, it does not work without google play services. Is the app designated to specifically work with those services, or is there some other location service that I could get the app to work with?
