You know what's ridiculous? Designating Hamas as a terrorist organisation. All that does is make it illegal for people to work with the civil government of Gaza.
And so if you're an expert from a country that does that wanting to provide aid to some of the most vulnerable people on earth, you now have to go through with this ridiculous charade of totally not working with the local government in any capacity.
Because if you do, well, then you're aiding a designated terrorist organisation, and that would be bad. Very bad. You're helping them do terrorist medicine at the terrorist hospital, or terrorist water treatment at the terrorist water treatment plant after all.
