Üdv Elvtársak!

At the beginning of the year I joined the Hungarian Workers' Party and after half a year of local activism, I have been assigned to an area which I'm now responsible for.

Starting this week, I have to report to the General Secretary on a regular basis, providing information (basically as much as I can cover) on the state and life of the Portuguese, Spanish and Greek communist parties.

Although I do have a layout for how I am planning to tackle such a hard task, as an Autistic person I am very overwhelmed with all this. I am asking for your help with checking if this layout is feasible or not, whether it is enough info in your opinion and how I could make it more informative/helpful as well as as easy as possible for me to do.

Here is what I've gathered so far. The Portuguese and the Greek parties thankfully do create English articles on their sites, but the Spanish don't. What translator or other site's coverage of the PCE do you recommend (EN)? Social medias as far as I can see are all targeted towards their own nationalities, so that's off the table, correct me if I'm wrong. I also thought about contacting them whether they'd be open to supplying me with extra material that's not on their site in English, but I don't want to overload them or bother them with such extra tasks. Other than this, we as a party only have good relationship with the Portuguese, they even visit us from time to time, the Greek pretty much disregard us, so I'm not sure how much of a conversation could be happening there even if I'd get in contact. What's your take?

I initially thought about a weekly report, sending it on Saturdays so the GS can read it on Sundays, preparing for the next week, although I'm not an exclusive reporter, of course he reads the news if something would have to reach him asap. Now, my main problem with this is that the sources available to me as I told you before do not provide enough content to be served on a weekly basis, but the goal of this whole initiative is to get us more ingrained and to keep us up to date with the tactics and strategics of other parties. What am I to do? Could you help me with sources or am I forced to either get info directly from them or expand the reports as a monthly thing? I imagined a simple format of a text doc., having several reoccurring sub-categories for each such as culture, appearances of the parties in the media or something, translations of statements on local/global politics, keeping up with their unique traditions and initiatives, following their actions of doing agitprop, events and so on.

Thank you in advance, any help is more than welcome!

I write them in manually of course, if it's justified. 👍🏻

Of course, my job IS to handle the machine and overview the shifts.

Just an update from my side: yesterday at the meeting they held a little "inauguration ceremony" for me at the party meeting. The party representative from the Capital had given me my little red membership book as well as gifted me a book from our president and a brand new party pin. Our goal this year is to get in the EU parliament to voice the program of people's Europe together with all major European communist parties. Thank y'all for the crossed fingers, the whole event went great! I hope you don't mind me talking about my experiences here.

Oh, looks a bit complicated, not sure I'll be able to set this up, but I will definitely try tomorrow, first thing in the morning. Nonetheless, I'll be asking some questions on Matrix if I run into problems. Thanks in advance!

I had the opportunity to play for a week or so, when I had access through game pass on an Xbox, but I no longer do. It was amazing, I've never felt so much at home in a multiplayer environment like when I was playing with y'all.

I wish this would be happening with Minetest instead of Minecraft, the price of Minecraft is a gatekeeping factor for many, including myself.

Yesterday I was finally able to apply to be a party member and today I have gotten back to work. I am really anxious regarding the geography exam I have to take before university, I feel like every minute is filled with fear until May. At least I have gotten back to reading, I'll try to catch up to the reading group on the long run. Health is fine, thank you for the cheers.

Have a nice Lenin themed week comrades.

So, I am one TMS short of the final treatment that is going to happen tomorrow. They say it will have it's effects in 2 weeks time. I feel better, but from complex causes, mainly a supportive family.

Today I attended my very first protest and met the president of our party. On one hand it was a blast, I had old guys congratulating me showing up for the event and a young comrade approaching me to engage in a conversation. Not to mention the several positive comments and smiles I got for the pins I was wearing. On the other hand, I have hyper-empathy and I hated every second of people walking by and making comments and so on. There was even a dude spitting once towards the speaker. How do you guys process shit like this? The feeling was and still kinda is unbearable.

Spent the weekend in the psych ward voluntarily, just to be safe. Now towards the end of the week, I'll prolly get my first TMS and then I can be out once and for all. See you next Monday! Have a great week, I think I'll go to the movies tomorrow, it's not a fun place guys..

Sadly I have been sent to a mental hospital because of thinking about suicide. The depression and anxiety that's caused by my autism has done it's thing throughout the 20 some years and I was no longer willing to continue. I am reading about Lenin, that and my family helps me going, but as you would guess it's terribly hard. If I get out of here, I'll try to join the party, maybe that will help me with my depression. Tomorrow is my evaluation, deciding what they want to do with me, hoping they will see that it's my autism causing the depression and they'd let me leave. Root for me guys, please.
