Quoting people means nothing, and is ultimately pointless when you can simply scroll up to the parent comment to see the context. It serves no purpose, does not mirror how conversation flows in person, and is condescending as all fuck. People who do it are typically champing at the bit to get into an argument because it’s the only way they know to communicate. Not a single post you’ve made has done a thing to dispel this notion.
Honestly, if you’re getting into online arguments and dealing with people deleting and editing their posts after the fact so often, you’re probably part of the problem.
I will add that the issue I’ve seen in this particular thread isn’t one of other people ignoring points, it’s one of you misunderstanding and misconstruing other people’s points.
