I think the reason people are mad is less about "google please follow the law" and more about "google please do the right thing"
it's both publicly-traded companies and VC-owned companies. any product that is required to constantly report their earnings and risk their company being dissolved if they don't increase profits year-to-year.
gonna have to consult venture overwatch on this one
does anyone else think disemboweled is a very grotesque word for what they're describing
