Calling someone dumb isn't a good way to start a discussion. When men wear condoms how can you claim the onus is on women? My wife didn't want to take hormones so I wore condoms, every couple has that option.

It's easy when you only need to care about your own needs. Try saying that with a family and kids...based on your comment I suspect you can't.

I agree that the generational mud slinging is a waste of energy and meant to distract. The entire narrative around generational divide is created and pushed by corporate media. It's the same story over and over, sow a social divide and keep the "have nots" infighting while the "haves" rob us blind. And the significant majority of us are not in the latter group and never will be no matter how much we fund our 401k and save.

Everyone isn't addicted to social media, it's about learning to set clear boundaries. My wife has IG and a few times a week we'll watch reels on her phone before bed. We have a few laughs together and spend ten minutes on it tops. I consider it quality time and actually look forward to it.

Honest question, do you think this post will change anyone's mind about anything? I see a lot of aggressive posts like this that will only further divide but hey at least you've inflated your own ego in the process right? Go get some fresh air, I think you might need the oxygen.

Insecure about what? Which side of the tape measure to use? Honestly I don't think many Americans are or were ever made aware that metric is the standard.

That seems like a rational take and I agree with you. Curious why the down votes? Because you're alluding to Biden having shortcomings at all? Or because it's perceived as a both sides are the same argument?

It's hard to accept we're living in such a tribal world. There's no more nuance or middle ground in the majority it seems.

I think it's rather that current forms of capitalism are 'fundamentally labor replacing' with AI being the most effective tool to accomplish that goal.

Although they're available you don't need an extension or app. They have a website where you can view price history and set email alerts. It works great, I'm still getting price alerts I set up years ago.

Who's they? A population of 300 million people? The USA is large and diverse, it can't be simplied in the way you're describing just like the EU couldn't. Social media and meme propaganda doesn't represent a country and it's people.

I'm wondering if we give AI consciousness is it more likely to identify humans as a threat to the Earth and try to eliminate us or would it empathize with it's creators? Seems risky...

I agree but corporations have one motive, profit. Whereas individuals on social media have unknown motives that can be dangerous in many other ways.
