I agree that the generational mud slinging is a waste of energy and meant to distract. The entire narrative around generational divide is created and pushed by corporate media. And the significant majority of us are not in the latter group and never will be no matter how much we fund our 401k and save.

Everyone isn't addicted to social media, it's about learning to set clear boundaries. My wife has IG and a few times a week we'll watch reels on her phone before bed. We have a few laughs together and spend ten minutes on it tops. I consider it quality time and actually look forward to it.

I agree but corporations have one motive, profit. Whereas individuals on social media have unknown motives that can be dangerous in many other ways.
