totally agree, peer reviewing is the bare minimum, but it IS a step above any old article published on a random website. also would like to acknowledge the limitations of this particular study. fair criticism and is something the authors brought up in their paper too.

iMessage lock in is almost exclusively a US problem (maybe EU, but i have no experience living there so i'm not sure). I'm from Malaysia and 99% of communication here is done through whatsapp and I know this is true for many other countries too. Line is frequently used in korea, Wechat in china, etc. It was only when I moved to the US that I used iMessage in any serious capacity

Welcome back! Biggest new thing is definitely the Fontaine region. Excellent story, amazing music, very pretty scenery.

Artifact-wise, the new Fontaine domain has new BiS for Fischl, Xiao, and the Fontaine cast. Marechaussee Hunter for Xiao + most of Fontaine chars, Golden Troupe for Fischl, Furina.

Characters, Wriothesley is on the current banner. Cryo on field normal/charged attack dps. Furina banner is coming in 2 weeks. Charlotte will also be coming in the new patch, but don't know which half she'll be released yet. (Furina is hydro archon, Charlotte is a 4* fontaine news reporter).

Not sure if you would like to know about leaks for the next patch so i'll leave em out for now since idk how to spoiler on Lemmy, but lmk if you're interested and i'll tell you about them!

iirc correctly it's a thought experiment where you have a hotel with an infinite number of rooms, full with an infinite number of guests. a bus comes along with an infinite number of guests, can the hotel accommodate them? the answer is always yes and simply depends on how you move the current guests around in the hotel. it gets pretty convoluted so check out the link for more info bc god knows i wouldn't be able to relay it accurately

not op but personally i find the briefness and abruptness of "what" funnier especially coming after "quick question"

definitely watch it with them. just faking it will only get you so far before the act falls apart. it'll also help you build your relationship with them if you show interest in picking up and learning stuff she likes IMO
