This is actually quite possible. There where cases where this occurred. I would say that this is more so true within the age of AI. Work smart not hard is essentially an oxymoron in some of these companies, as exploitation is what they crave.

Yeah, it is a case with proprietary shit thats only available on microslop. Its an endless cycle where we are being forced to consume slop on top of slop. This lock-in is strategic so that users of specialised software have no other choice.

Really goes to show that discrimination and ageism can be resolved just like that. We treat peers like peers and listen to them, not silently dictate what they should/shouldnt do. This post is in essence a giant slippery slope.

Exactly, people are at gunpoint, and yet this post is filled with slippery-slope propaganda. Its classic Lemmy, too unrestrained to realise discrimination applies everywhere.

This is important to realise. They just hit the limits of local meat production - supply and demand isn't working anymore, so they transition to a more economic and efficient source. This also does make it more environmentally friendly as a side effect, its more implicit in this case.
