Being unable to use manifest v2 extensions anymore on most chromium based stuff has resulted in me writing off almost all browsers that are base on chromium. Kudos to Firefox for continuing to support it! Let's hope that does not change at all anytime soon.
It probably has a lot of benefits but I don't think I could ever get used to immutable linux distros, especially since I really like customisability (I use Gentoo for a reason!!)
I have a lot more power over my system and can do more things on it Plus my computer is powerful already so the compile times aren't as abhorrent outside of anything with Webkit or chromium I love it, been using the OpenRC variant for the past several months after switching from Artix and have no regrets.
I will probably be voting for them this year because I'm honestly just sick of most of the larger parties at this point. It feels like nothing gets done when either are in power and none of the other minor parties are that attractive to me.
Can someone give me context to this drama revolving him? I'm new to the fedi so I don't understand much but all I know is that Rimu made the Piefed software...
