My mom said it to me frequently before I cut her out, which is a pretty good indication it's not normal. A therapist would tell you that's a reflection of her issues; if she had a different kid instead of you she would have said the same thing to them. You, as a person, don't really factor into why she feels that way.

As for your feelings, let me know what you come up with. I'm in the same boat emotionally and I don't see a way out either.

Yeah, I read your post yesterday and I don't understand what's happening here either.

I didn't have anything to say at the time, but it hasn't left my brain yet.

You definitely seem to have the second amendment backwards, as others have mentioned.

Additionally, the US government has turned the military on its own protesters several times. The Kent State massacre, The Battle of Blair Mountain, and the 1967 Detroit riots are all instances where they murdered civilians and faced no consequences. It's completely legal and, in all three of those cases, was happily endorsed by much of the populace.

Hey, it's Mac's mom from Always Sunny.

Yeah, I gotta admit I definitely assumed most of those things would be true. I knew it could be messy, but I didn't realize it was such a loosely bound garbage heap.

Code Ment "Where are you right now!?" "I'M AT SOUP"

A classic that has not aged well, but that scene will always be great.

Looks great so far. Those aspects are really concise but convey a ton of possibilities. I'd be interested in seeing the stunts. I'm really happy to see Fate in here, so I'm looking forward to seeing updates on this!

This may be unpopular, but I don't use the dividers at checkout. I just wait my turn. Once all the previous person's stuff is scanned I start loading my stuff on the belt. By the time they finish paying, even with a tap card, I've got the belt full and I'm waiting again.

Some guy got mad at me at Costco recently for it. I guess he really wanted to get some stuff out of his cart while the person in front of me was still getting scanned. It feels like flooring it to every red light. You still have to wait, so what's the point?

Currently reading The Lost Cause by Cory Doctorow. Not sure how I feel about it yet. The positivity and inclusiveness were nice at first, but it's being laid on so thick that it's starting to feel uncomfortable. Like fan service in an anime.

It's really good at making you feel like peace and progress are fragile while fascism feels iron-clad.

What do you do with the used oil? When I was a kid my family would dump it in big barrels, then we'd bury them once they got full. Obviously not something I want to do now. But I've asked the oil change places around here and they charge a fee to take the used oil.

I shed a tear and sing In the Arms of an Angel by Heather McLachlan every time I do this. Even for a single noodle.
