I knew what it was going to be before even clicking the link.
That worked so much better than I expected it to.
My in-laws made these and I have eaten probably 40 of these over the last couple days. Very simple but good flavors. Slightly salty instead of sickeningly sweet like everything else I've been eating.
Some of us feel it's better to have fewer (or no) people in this world. If you ascribe to that philosophy then a declining birth rate from people choosing not to procreate is the most humane way to achieve that, with genocide and eugenics being obviously evil. I do believe things will be difficult for the aging population, and even more difficult for the young who are forced to care for them.
I have lived in a town dying from the exodus of young people. I was in 8th grade when the school became too small to maintain and my bus ride tripled in length, but I was suddenly in a class of 32 instead of 6. It is indeed sad, and it looks worse every time I visit. It's like a person in hospice fading away. I do truly mourn for the history and culture that is lost. But I also personally believe the suffering humans inflict and endure outweighs what the universe will lose.
Mine doesn't have a pilot light, and instead uses electric arcs to light the gas. So I would be even more out of luck.
Is it 0.3 cents or 0.003 cents per play? I thought it was the latter, but the image above seems to show the former.
Mining is the one part of the game I don't like. I'm ok with the RNG of fishing, animals, foraging, and cards. You're still usually making progress even if you didn't roll what you wanted.
But a lot of things rely on ores, and there isn't a good way to mitigate bad rolls like other tools. Even the pickaxe barely helps, and that's because you need one exact roll in most cases. Descending levels is at least possible outside of mining with a couple stones, but only barely.
I recommend watching a YouTube video together of how to play. Most are 10-15 minutes. I like reading the rules and teaching the game, but you're adding a couple hours if you do that with this game.
There are no trains here, but I've never had anyone attempt to talk to me on the bus, nor have I ever seen two people talk that didn't get on together. The only exception was people panhandling at the bus stops, and I wouldn't call those conversations.
That's what I was thinking. Linoleum can be ugly and will cut/dent easy, but it's the cheapest to replace.
I think this is my favorite. Bringing a wad of fast food napkins makes you seem like a lazy bum. Tupperware lets everyone know you're a cunning mooch.
