Not op, but I've been playing the series (just finished the sixth game, Cold Steel), and I'd suggest not starting from a later point in the series, as every game references the previous ones in some way. Although even if they didn't, I'd still suggest starting from Sky, then playing Zero and Azure, as they are really good (and imo much better games than CS).

Started Horizon Zero Dawn. I usually don't like open world games, but this one has an interesting setting and the gameplay seems fun, so I'm giving it a try.

Finally finished Trails of Cold Steel which was meh. It felt needlessly padded (it could have been shortened to like 30 hours instead of 60 IMO) and there were too many uninteresting characters (I actually can't think of an interesting one). Hopefully the following games are better, as now the setting should be more interesting.

I have, lol.

But there's still gonna be Switch games I already own and don't wanna rebuy or exclusives I wanna play.

That's a shame if it's true. I found the original uncomfortable and painful to hold, I was hoping for something more like the Steam Deck.

Looking at reviews, it seems like a common criticism of the second game is that it's mostly a repeat of the first with a few additions, but also without fixing any of its issues.

To people who have played both: is it worth playing the second one? I already have the first, as it was included in a bundle, but never played it.

  • Thanks everyone for answering! I'll be playing DD first then.

As someone who plays fighting games only for the multiplayer: I hate having to unlock the characters, as I'd be either forced to play a character I'm not interested in or a mode I don't care about.

I learned a bit of FORTH because an old Minecraft mod (Redpower 2) had a computer that could run it.

FFXV, while flawed, is a good game and it's the only one that feels like an actual journey.

Lies of P is better than From's souls games.

Is it the Nintendo Switch OS which is needlessly bloated? It does nothing, how can it be heavier than an actual Linux Distribution?

AFAIK the OS is based on a microkernel and the modules are rather small, so there's probably a lot of overhead for IPC. Also I guess the power management is quite aggressive to increase battery life and lower heat.

That's why I almost always hide helmets.

Yea it's worth playing now. It's not a masterpiece, but it's fun enough.

I've used it at work since it often is the only installed browser and it feels like it's already infected by toolbars and other malware out of the box.

The new tab page reminds me of the weird ads you see at the bottom of tabloid websites.

I always interpreted as X because it looks like a pair of scissors, C for copy and V just because it's close to the others.

Hi, I'm looking for a thin phone cover for my Nord 2. Most of the ones I've tried are bulky and sometimes change the shape of the phone in uncomfortable ways, but I still wanna use a cover to protect the phone, especially from falls.

Does anyone have tips on what I should try?

Thanks
