Yeah fair, the English name slipped my mind while writing the post and I was too lazy to look it up. Also true, they're super chill. This one hangs around the entrance of the grocery store with a buddy quite often, sitting on the bikes and just generally vibing.
Saw this little guy sunbathing on the back of my bike when I got back from getting groceries. Probably liked the bags since they were quite warm from being in the sun.
He was very unperturbed when I walked up to him, pretty much giving me a look of "Do you mind? I'm enjoying myself here". Only moved when I unlocked my bike.

Let it be known that I do not want to attack you personally. But the notion of electric bikes being death traps is something I can't take seriously. I could go outside right now and film the street for an hour and watch 50% of bikes going by being electric, not to mention that you'd be hard pressed to find anyone wearing a helmet or protective gear.
Electric bikes here are generally limited to 25kmh (15mph) and the electric motor will stop the moment you go over that speed. Besides, most people generally don't reach that speed because the largest users of electric bikes here are the over 50.
In my personal experience the problem isn't so much the vehicle as the infrastructure being made for it. For context I live in the Netherlands in a smaller city (far from Amsterdam).
Actually it's not! It's an Icelandic Sheepdog. But I do get why people would think that from this picture.
Funny, you made me realize that's a language thing. In my native language (Dutch) it is very common to refer to both crows and jackdaws as crows.
