Except how are you going to change society without some form of power, which forces you to use the state? I wouldn't call it utopian what they were describing, while anarchism to me sounds more utopian. Without the power to defend yourselves, the power of capitalists, current, former, or foreign will destroy you.

It sounds like it's similar to saying climate change isn't real because the weather was colder one day, when in actuality the theory of global warming is describing an ongoing process and tendency of the temperature to increase in the overall system overall long period of time, it's not a day to day weather phenomenon you can describe with a singular slice of time.

Lol that's such a Nazi thing to say. There is no battlefield. There's the settlers taking people's homes and the concentration camp they've put their victims in. There's the genociders, supplied with the most advanced weapons in the world, and the genocidees, who have been abandoned by everyone but Yemen. There were some things she did early in the primary that kind of inspired me tbh. I really liked the Walz VP pick, especially when it looked like she was going to pick a more conservative Dem like Shapiro the Zionist or Mark Kelly. She also had a more youthful energy to contrast against Biden's clearly aging and tired energy during his campaign. But then they squandered it by listening to the consultants and focus groups trying to triangulate to get Haley Republicans or whatever they were trying to do.

IDF has lied about command centers below hospitals forever and continue to do so. Their word means less than nothing. If he was killed in the hospital, it's because he was getting treatment. If he was under the hospital it's because tunnels are everywhere throughout Gaza because it's the only wait to move or go anywhere without getting bombed and killed. The area is super concentrated and full of people because Israel keeps taking land and rounding them in smaller and smaller areas, like a concentration camp.

And if killing civilians is okay if they're mixing with soldiers, then Israel deserves a thousand October 7th's. They killed dozens more, including wounded, children, and pregnant to get one guy in this one attack. Comparing that that to the hundreds of thousands Israel has killed and virtually everyone in it being an IDF member or supporting of them, then the state itself and every genocidal piece of shit in it needs to die in the same hell fire they're raining on Gazans. This is your twisted logic.

Tbh, I don't think it can be reformed either lol. I think our Constitution and the procedures to change it are extremely broken and a new Constitution would need to be written for this state to have any hope. The founding fathers gave it a good try, but there were a lot of problems they couldn't foresee, they were one of the first democracies so they made a lot of mistakes. The state needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, same as apartheid South Africa and present day Israel.

But at least the US government can conceivably change out its whole leadership structure through democracy. The powers that control the Democratic party are not as such, they're a mix of powerful politicians, rich donors, staffers that have been there for decades, not just democratically elected people.
