hehe. The movement is a lot closer to the stationary piglet than I imagined.

I thought it might be more like this

[–] Tyoda@lemm.ee 13 points 2 weeks ago (9 children)

no because jerboa usually doesn't play gifs for some reason. I only get a stationary piglet

It really was a good ole' internet argument where he was just obnoxiously wrong in his interpretation and remained just as confidently incorrect the entire time.

7zip doesn't have a builtin gui on Linux. Your file manager's "compress" and "extract" functions should be able to utilize it as needed. Only power users need all the bits and dials beyond that, and they can use the terminal to harness all the power of the 7z command.

Thomas launched the anti-nuclear vigil outside the White House in Lafayette Square, Washington, D.C. on June 3, 1981.

In 2013, the Peace Vigil was disassembled while it was briefly left unattended. It was restored the same day.

2013?

You're sorta one of the "[un]lucky 10000" today. Basically everyone is constantly on the edge of losing all their digital stuff and most people don't even know it. You might take this as a warning to do better in the future, but even there most people would fail, I'd say.

There's maybe 0.1% of people who know what "3-2-1" means who are only risking a week's/month's worth of stuff at all times.

And they never run the same version of the kernel so that if one crashes the other is still available

@Leavingoldhabits@lemmy.world for example modded a scanner to be a camera: https://lemmy.world/post/18023559

There's also abundant experimentation with pinhole cameras such as https://lemmy.world/search?q=pinhole+camera&type=All&listingType=All&page=1&sort=TopAll

Or homemade light-sensitive materials even. (though i haven't seen that here yet)

just thought you might be interested :)

.ee shouldn't censor it (for others)

You can also encode characters (a=%61) in a url that should bypass this and work:

AltA shrouded figure offers a young flustered owl to an elder individual standing above it, which looks away and communicates disapproval with its body.

found it in this post over at !superbowl@lemmy.world

I grabbed the device from its slumber, ready to fire up a Lemmings session, but I thought I'd check the battery first...

As I pushed to open the battery compartment, the lid popped off, running for its life.

AltA screenshot of the Lemmy web UI showing the profile page of the logged in user. The "Uploads" section of the profile is shown, along with the top of the last uploaded image and a delete button next to it.

You can delete images you accidentally uploaded or don't need anymore. This can be good if you want to try and wipe them from the internet, or you want to lighten storage costs for your instance.

The maintainer updated it within a couple of hours.

Crazy story, I know.

For years I was stuck with a setup where my main monitor was plugged into the GPU via HDMI, but my secondary monitor only had VGA, for which the card did not have a port. My motherboard does have one, though. Using that basically worked... with random issues popping up both now on Linux and way back in the dark times.

One of these issues was that FO4 would not display correctly in full screen. It looked fine in windowed, but the cursor would be confined to the top left area of the screen, unless I had my second monitor, physically on the left, virtually on the right instead.

I just inherited a new card and I took the financial hit of a cheeseburger's worth for a VGA-DisplayPort adapter, and now it works just fine in full screen!
