2-3 years until the viruses build up and kill them. They winter over just fine if you mulch them, or let Mother Nature do the mulching. Also, by the end of 2 years, all the local slugs & snails have them logged on their google maps so fruit quantity drops off dramatically unless you feel like being snailicidal.

Ditto comment above.

Never ever eaten one. So I don't know. Judging by the packaging, it's not something I would spend money on.

Interesting thing just happened. I was in the middle of writing a reply, but the time stamp said that I had responded 5 minutes ago. Yes, it was the time stamp for that reply. I checked.
This means that the DT is actually a portal that allows time travel into the future. Albeit not very much future. Not enough for stock market speculation, dammit. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Favorite dessert is, well, dessert. With the caveat that I'm not all that fond of coconut as a texture or flavour. So any dessert that does not contain coconut is a contender for favorite. I suspect the real answer is whatever dessert I am eating at the time.

Black pudding with strawberry ketchup and a baguette please. No more coffee, please, no more coffee.

The unsung hero of cbf food is a chicken thigh fillet immersed in baked beans and bubbled up in the microwave. Chopping optional. Serve on rice or toast or spud or just by itself. Add veg and/or other flavorings like hot sauce if feeling a little less cbf.

But who in their right mind BUYS off the plan, given the lousy build quality of most of the 'off the plan' strata title developments. I've lost track of all the noise, mould, cracking, horrible neighbours complaints about these developments both here and on the other site.

Just had some good news - my younger boy Nick (who works at NASA at Cape Canaveral) is safe. He and his wife and my granddaughter did the smart thing and evacuated. Currently in LA. I have been so worried. But all are safe and well.

Just came back from brunch with a friend - she'd cooked a very nice variation on hashbrowns. Thinnish layer of mashed spud in a lined lamington tray, layer of smoked salmon, another layer of mashed spud. Then chilled, cut in sections, breaded and fried.
End result was a hash brown with a distinct layer of fish in the middle. She served these with a poached egg on top and a side of avocado salsa.
Very nice indeed and a good brunch dish.

PSA : chicken salt (aussie.zone)

Found that Coles now stocks Mitani's Chicken Salt. The original and best. Fairly cheap too at $3 or so. They also do a house brand but I don't like that so much.
