This validates my earlier point about headgear. If they received sufficient brain damage to induce retrograde amnesia with such heavy head protection then they most likely would have died without it.

They need Sid (the Sylveon) to pass as a girl in order to get past the janitor as Stacy (the Umbreon) told the janitor that Sid is a girl after forgetting that Sid was still changing and not stopping the janitor from seeing him, with the boxers seemingly being a dead giveaway. Stacy threw the panties as she is currently panicking and handles stress poorly.
