Fernando was told to let Lance by to chase down Tsunoda, Lance was told to give the place back after failing to do so, and he didn't. Tbf though it was more of strategic blunder by the team.

Cracks showing up on all fronts, Verstappen/GP-Red Bull, Norris/Piastri-Mclaren, Stroll/Alonso, this is great for neutrals

Should've called it Formula One/1 at the very least, would've been more nuanced. But then they couldn't plaster the F1 logo front and center and get people to look it up, which I guess was the point of this ad effort.

He wasn't penalised for moving under braking in previous laps

Ocon was just the catalyst that accelerated the behind the scenes reshuffling starting with Briatore, repercussions is him not getting resigned plus a stern talk.

Edit: also this guy has been there for 20 years, he's one of those limp mummies from 2005/2006 glory, at some point you need fresh blood in there

Still trying to force their way in, this is just another move. I'm guessing Pat Symonds was already on his way out at 70 yo, this way he gets a final consultancy contract doing minimal work, so win-win really.

Nice static surface for sponsors, imagine the Ferraris running with 4 HP logos for wheels

Don't get the derisive tone of the article, this is arguably good news considering how dysfunctional the technical department has been at Enstone. De Beer was absolute deadwood and Matt Harman wasn't suited for the technical director promotion. Maybe Alpine will actually learn and stop hiring second-rate people at the helm.

The blackout was useless because most subreddits didn't even provide an alternative on Lemmy or elsewhere.

Don't see how Lewis to Ferrari makes Toto look bad. We all know it's a bucket-list move in the grand scheme of things, they discussed it ahead of time. Plus Mercedes still has a solid driver with Antonelli next in line for the second seat, and Allison back as technical director, not a bad outlook at all.
