This is a good article. The Buddha taught compassion for all beings, and the path which leads to the end of suffering. Naturally, his followers would also like to see the end of suffering. Animals suffer when they are farmed, abused, and killed, thus any follower worth their salt would like the see the end of these too. I may take a less charitable approach for His Holiness the Dalai Lama. If it truly were that the Dalai Lama was enabled to eat meat because of his spiritual attainment, then why would Sakyamuni Buddha not eat the most meat, given he has attained perfect enlightenment? The Dalai Lama eats meat because he is not perfect. This is my belief.

There's a Dungeons & Dragons Workshop in a cafe near me, I'm hoping to attend and make new friends. They're going over Character Creation apparently.

Edit: It went well! Folks were super friendly, all very nice. I was short on time, so I had to dip but next Saturday I'm hoping to participate in a one-shot.

If you learn cursive poorly enough, then you can pose as your own doctor, and get all the medicine you need. It just makes sense.

Very few people that oppose wind turbines are actually any type of animal lover. If bird deaths really were the cause of their apprehension, ironically you'd see them push more for clean energy such as wind and solar, since pollution has killed and will continue to kill countless more beings than any wind turbine could dream of.
