You can definitely grind. It's not necessary for beating the game, but it's helpful.

But I'm just halfway through my first run, so I'm not a expert. But it's definitely a good replacement for Diablo so far.

I can recommend Grim Dawn if you haven't played it yet.

That's horrible. Why would anyone think that co2 is in any way an acceptable way of taking a life?

I guess it's slightly more efficient than just putting your pets in an airtight container. But still pretty awful.

Agreed. Its really annoying since i love the Paperwhite. But I just don't trust Amazon as a company.

E-reader suggestion (lemmy.world)

Hi.

I have an old Amazon Kindle Paperwhite that is showing signs of its age. So I have to start thinking about replacing it.

So I have been really happy with both the Paperwhite and the Kindle store. But I have realised that I should be moving away from Amazon as it's not really a company I would like to keep supporting.

So what are the current best options out there. Mostly reading non fiction books, so no need for colour. But a bookstore with a good selection is critical.

Photo unrelated. But a great read/listen about the dust-bowls in the 1920's.

Your opinion on HSE (lemmy.world)
submitted 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago) by SanitationStation@lemmy.world to c/workreform@lemmy.world

Hi.

I was curious about peoples opinion of HSE, especially in the context of the modern workplace.

It seems to be mostly nonsense. Or it seems to be about covering the asses of the management in case something actually happens at work, not really about keeping people safe. Mostly the solutions are to sign another piece of paper.

Especially the idea that every large accident is a consequence of a lot of small incidents that accumulates. This idea just seems made specifically to blame the people on the bottom of the hierarchy whenever something occurs.

Anyways. HSE useful or not?

Edit: HSE - Health, safety and environment.
