Now I'm wishing I'd gotten the chance to play Gigantic! If you discover a playable client and server, lemme know, because I'm loving how that looks

Right?! Why does he look exactly like the kind of guy that would moderate r/Jailbait?

I say we celebrate their successes! Don't let perfection be the enemy of progress; the fact that they're trying to do something about sustainability is far more than can be said for most laptop manufacturers, and the more the industry sees them succeed, the more it will follow suite.

Your mortgage doesn't go up at the same rate as the market though. What year did you buy, because my in-laws just sold their mobile home for $700k @ 7% interest.

I was going 45 mph on a main road, when an 18 year old trying to show off for his girlfriend, blew threw a stop sign on a residential road and t-boned me going 80 mph. I was one of the luckier victims, with emergency surgery, fractures and breaks everywhere, loss of use of two fingers, and nerve damage in all of my limbs.

The driver's girlfriend did not survive, and my coworker, who was in the car with me, had every rib shatter and his spine broken. 3 years later, he's still on oxy (he had to get special approval and prove that it wasn't addiction).

I don't remember the crash itself, but I remember a fire and waking up to my coworker covered in blood, screaming and delirious. I remember falling in and out of conciousness while I was moved from room to room to get emergency care for the next 3 days. Most of all, I remember the relief at hearing my coworker's voice after 4 days, now knowing that he was still alive.

To be fair to them, I also have a Beehaw account, but saw this post from my Lemmy.ca account, I'm not going through the extra effort to change accounts just to make it known that I'm in the hive. I understand your point, but lets take a breather here pal ❤️

True, though this is a little out of date, DDG has built much of their own cache now. Bing is still their failover, but they've gotten a lot more independent. That said, I don't generally care for it's derivative-of-bing results, and has had some privacy oopsies lately that steer me away.

I know of MFA being allowed on it when you go premium, and I think it allows a collection, so you can have a shared collection of passwords with someone else. It's been really handy for my wife and I, especially for things like bank and apartment logins.
