No, but we've gone almost 20 years without major banks going nearly bankrupt simultaneously. Also, unemployment is low across the West, housing prices keep climbing, and public and private debt are through the roof. It's starting to feel like 2008 again, but this time it will be even worse.

The last financial crisis was nearly 20 years ago, so another one is due soon. I still think it's a bit early, and Trump will probably offset it with by lowering interest rates and (probably) printing even more money. Maybe in 2028-2030 is when we get another big crash.
Today 5%, tomorrow 10% and so on, until eventually there is nothing left for the civilian economy.

Another thing about western communist parties, is that they are rich. They have a lot of money which they just waste on electoral campaigns. So imo, they should send some of that money to third world communist parties, that have an actual chance of doing revolution. Basically, fill the void left by the Soviet Union in exporting revolution.
I don't believe it's possible to build revolution, in any European country right now. Even in Greece, during the brutal austerity years, the best the Greek people were able to do was to vote for Syriza. So it's hopeless in countries like Germany and France.
