Just went back to their previous album and it has quite a bit more personality compared to this one, I feel. The messy side of the band was messier and really added some much needed crinkly bits around the outer edge of this simple, yet complex cookie lol.

My introduction to these dudes was the album prior, which seemed to have kinda caused a rift among their fans. I haven't gone back to their older stuff yet, but it sounds like it's worth checking out for sure! I'm just enjoying this newer material currently haha.
I also just had a friend recommend me Fantômas and I'm checking out their Director's Cut album, it's a fuckin trip man. Mike Patton is one hell of a talented individual and I'm finding a lot of his stuff is hit or miss for me, but I see the vision, these trippy visions lmao. I'm noticing Mr. Patton roped Lombardo into quite a few projects, and it's rather interesting to discover this years after the fact.
Ah nice it's finally out! Been lookin forward to this one since hearing Death by Fire.
Also, what's up with the A.D. thing? If I had a nickel.. 🤣
The same exact thing happened to me - "Wtf these dudes are just ripping off Amon Amarth! ...Actually this is damn nice."
I recommend the newest single that came out, When The Sun Comes Out At Night. Really good stuff.
It was close! Didn't wanna just post the first actual track - I have actually added both to my playlist lol.
I kinda enjoy Arch Enemy's Aces High, voiced by their first vocalist.
Completely agree! Can't beat No Sone Unturned, Silent Nothingness, or even Dying Season. Even though some of it was rerecorded older material hehe.
They've been phoning it in these past few years i think. Only really liked the instrumental from the previous album lol. Their revival album was amazing though, like 15+ years ago.
Saw this in the feed last night, was thinking about how bland it is as I was listening lol. At least the solo is half decent!
Huh neat. Joined!
