For anyone who wants to know more about this, I'd recommend Legal Eagle's video on the settlement. There is no "slice". It is a bottomless well with zero oversight, zero criteria, controlled by the administration and Trump's personal associates. However bad you thought this was, it's worse.

The first one is my favorite. I do that every time I'm at the ocean. :3

Hey, I really like your art. It's always a pleasure to see it! ♥️

Absolutely. I always choose the slut and/or ragamuffin options when I face a decision.

Man, if they really wanted to produce some worldwide goodwill, they would build their own production for power and water and make sure there was an excess. Outside of the obvious environmental concerns, the extra jobs, power, and water would be just a huge net benefit for everyone involved. It is such an easy win for public goodwill, but you know, they won't because it costs more.

I'm not super sure I understand here, the government can say "no, you will continue working" when a union threatens to strike? What's the point of a union if companies can be so powerful that they can bend the government to deny them the ability to strike?

My kitten lived and thrived (sorta, she had a hole in her head) in the garbage. Now she's a fully pampered adult with fancy food and she still yearns for the garbage. Such is life.

With the right pairing, it can be rule. :3

It's worth looking into how much data modern US cars are gathering as well, if you're concerned with that. Frankly, it seems like you're just deciding who gets your data at a certain point.

That would be the death knell for Discord and a good thing overall, I think.

God, and the app actually sucks such a bag of dicks. I use it as infrequently as I possibly can because it actively fights me trying to get what I need from it.

I feel the final panel with my whole soul

I just finished it. I saw another of Remy Boydell's comics posted for a bit of a joke a couple weeks ago and it got me looking at their work.

Both comics are phenomenal, truly, but The Pervert shattered me. I can't stop crying and I'm doing everything I can to stop the spiral before it gets too bad.

I don't know what else to say about it. I don't wanna spoil the story or speak to how I relate to it and out my personal stuff online. It just broke me.

Some context: my friend has an absolute monster of a machine at his place. He went from 'I have an old computer for plex' to like... a giant rack that we all had to make a special trip for to move as a group when he moved into his new place over like 10 years.

It always seemed kinda cool that he had this setup but kind of, I don't know, overkill?

Anyway, I got to talking with him recently about how annoying it was to move books from my storage drive to my reader and he offered to set up a server for me to use. So I spent an afternoon setting up a book download-to-hosted pipeline, and then I realized my manga doesn't really play well with Calibre-Web, so I added a Komga container. But then I wanted something to sort them so I could just dump all the files in the same place and just have them sent to where they needed to be, but I wanted to make sure that it could handle audiobooks, and video too, because Jellyfin sounds kinda cool and it would be nice to have an organized Anime archive somewhere.

I guess I just mean that I understand it now. My friend is being super generous at the moment, but he's already sending me links for some starter hardware that I can build out once I can set aside a little more money for it. I'm so pumped to see what else is out there.

So uh... what are y'all's setups like? :3

Hey all. I've recently swapped to Linux and I've been really enjoying it so far. I'm still pretty new to basically every aspect of it, though, so I'm not super sure what things I should be wary of with regard to hardware, in particular with Mint.

I was looking at buying a newer laptop to keep up with my main game, but it occurred to me that newer hardware may come with either a host of issues or be less supported than older hardware.

Any advice for laptops in this regard?
