Trad metal influenced melodeath, FFO: Grenadier.

Lyrics focus on the troubles and war between the British rulers in Northern Ireland and the Provisional Irish Republican Army that sought to end British rule and establish a socialist republic. I'm mentioning this because this style of melodeath is often times associated with racist, far-right ideologies which is afaik not the case here.

 

tech/prog blackened melodeath? it's definitely a bit removed from the classic melodeath sound, but i think it broadly fits in here

I really really liked their debut, but imho it only went downhill from there... I will listen to the new album when it comes out and I'll try to be open minded, but my expectations are quite low tbh

I still love Necroticism... and Symphonies of Sickness the most I think, but Heartwork and Surgical Steel are also quite bangers (and more relevant to this particular community). (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)
