New update on Wintersun's Instagram about the forthcoming album's progress! Only mildly concerned with what Jari is calling "big breakthroughs" with mixing and mastering, given how rough around the edges Time II sounded on release, but y'know, maybe he's gonna do better on this next one. From the IG post:

The album intro is complete and sounds fantastic! I've invested a lot in improving the orchestrations, and it has paid off. Everything sounds better and is better arranged. Almost all the orchestrations are done, except for the finales of two songs. Vocal recordings are nearly complete. Only a few clean singing parts, some brutal high screams, and some backing vocals remain.

The next challenge I'm starting next week is to capture my real analog guitar amps in a digital format. I think this album needs the good old Mesa Boogie Triaxis tight sound, and the plugins still haven't beaten the real thing yet, so I need to capture it before it breaks down.

Will Wintersun be back in 2026?? Only Time will tell...
