I think I'm going to find my wrist straps for the joycons and give it a go this weekend ๐Ÿ˜ผ

I finished the main quest of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom over the weekend, and found most of the collectables. I decided to use a guide to get the last few and was really pleased with myself at how few I hadn't found on my own. This is the first game in a long time that I just sat down and enjoyed without any guides or looking anything up on the internet, and it was an absolutely amazing experience.

After that I started on Skyward Sword HD, another Zelda title that I have never played before. I'm still not sure about the controller controls but I've made it through the first dungeon and I have enjoyed it so far. I might give the Switch motion controls a try and see if they feel more natural, and I might also boot it up on my modded Wii just to compare; I feel like the Wiimote would feel more sword-like in my hands ๐Ÿค”

She'd be very confused, and then excited that I'd finally figured it out. It only took me another 20ish years ๐Ÿ˜น

I've been super busy, my SO had knee replacement surgery about a week and a half ago and I've been doing my best to be with her as much as possible while also taking care of my place and cat about 90 minutes away. I have taken the extra driving time to practice my fem voice though, and I have a fairly convincing customer service voice coming along nicely!

Finally saw a good enough discount on Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and ordered it, looking forward to it showing up this weekend and diving into it!

Having a great week here. Feeling the strongest and healthiest I've felt since before bottom surgery, my surgeon is optimistic we'll finally be finished treating post-op granulation tissue in the next few weeks, and after a long wait I finally got to see the speech therapist to start some real voice training!
