How about instead of a remake it’s a sequel but set much more In the future , say 39 thousand years from the first one. the type of faster then light travel in the movie is now mostly safe and commonplace, mankind has spread out across the entire galaxy. But to keep it thematically constant with the first movie it would have to be a dark and dangerous future.

I’ve said this thing to my therapist, like I’m negotiating with a demon who is me .

As someone, who was on SSRIs for 12 years. With doctors assistance I've weened off it and my last pill was 2 weeks ago. Couple that with just accepting who I was and what this condition meant and how it affects every aspect of life. Though the withdrawal was rough and I'm still feeling the brain zaps, but my quality of life and outlook about the future has improved 1000%. Please only take this as anecdotal as I'm not in an medical profession. But now the only thing I take is Vyvanse and I really was only prescribed that 6 months ago. As other have pointed out I was being treated for a symptom and not a root cause, and while I cannot say one way or another weather K will help you , its really something to talk over with a doctor. I will say that managing the Cause and not the symptoms does make everything else a lot easier. I think the only thing SSRIs were doing for me was making it very easy to be 'detached'.

Good luck on your journey I hope you can find the treatment that works for you.

Hi, I’m 46 years old and have had a diagnosis since childhood ( was call add then). And without getting to much into it have had many challenges throughout my life. I’m in a good place now where my own Strahles coupled with therapy and medication help me manage things. Up until very recently i felt like this was something to overcome with willpower but now I’m more like this is a storm I just need to ride along with an do my best. I work in software development and in my current job I’m ramping up to take on a lot more responsibilities and leadership. I’ll be dealing with people alot more as a result and I basically am looking for advice on what to do in those moments when I recognize I’m being too “much” without just having to explain that I’m neurodivergent or that I have ADHD. i know I can meet the expectations set in front of me i’m just looking to see how to smooth over the rough patches.
