I'm on the playstore version. I've been using Lemmy-UI as a PWA for a long time now on this version on the browser. Yesterday it started showing some problems. The upvote, downvote buttons and counts, reply button, the star fediverse button stopped showing up. So, I deleted the PWA and tried to reinstall it & I'm getting this error since. Unable to do it now.

Installing the PWA for lemdro.id is giving me an error in the notification. I'm using Kiwi browser on Android.

I found this in the Lemmy docs:

  • Active uses the post votes, and latest comment time (limited to two days)
  • Hot uses the post votes, and the post published time

I don't get it. Are the snake and the plane shown by the image viewer without the window?

Jpg is ancient, and gif, holy shit gif is from stone age

Where does PNG stand in this timeline?

yep. Buttons over Gestures gang! For me, gestures feel choppy & laggy on the webapps that I've tried.

They just published a small update through the playstore just now. Maybe the apkmirror link will be updated too.

It also seems faster in generating responses than their default webapp I use.

I think I found two bugs:

Hey. Thanks for your work. Photon is fast. I like the design too.

A few things I would like to see would be:

Major ones:

  • Sorting Comments
  • More sorting options for feeds
  • Hide the bottom navigation bar (from the browser) like a proper webapp. Right now it behaves like a normal open tab in my browser (Kiwi for Android)
  • Search button for content search. I love the Globe button for communities.
  • Markdown option for writing comments
  • Preview comments before publishing

Minor ones:

  • Can you make this Comments button to collapse/show all the child comments when clicked/unclicked? It makes revisiting and navigating parent comments easier
