He's a fascist troll. Block him. Check his history. Classic "rack up reputation in game subs and then spam right wing hate speech everywhere else". Dude is a total fash troll, again, block him. Fedi works best when we block those guys because just responding to them is spreading their messages through your network.

Bo Peep and Woody flirting isn't universal ... and being unwed, the sexual innuendo presents a double standard. But that's not politics to you.

But make her a him, call him Beau Peep and change nothing else in the same sentence? "Politics". Ugh.

Counter point, the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

I'm not gonna argue your brother ("my sister in law is the wife of a cop" is a strange way to say that) is evil simply for being a cop, no, but your brother does defend bad cops all the time. Every cop does. They call it a brotherhood for a reason, and the expectation is that their brotherhood runs deeper than yours. Be aware of that and keep him aware too. Because if he's "one of the good ones" he's in real danger if ever he spoke out against the bad ones. Real, life threatening danger. That I can say that of police and back it up with a dozen examples of cops killing other cops should at the very least give you pause.

By the way if you do the "don't assume their gender" thing from my assumption that it's your brother, oh boy they're in a lot more danger than I originally thought.

Good moment to point out that "white" is an ever-changing target that constantly moves as needed by the white people in power. Remember "one drop" was their rule. There's no such thing as "white".

Fun fact that demonstrates the point: depending on your locale you may already be seeing this happen, but Latinos are about twenty years away from being considered defacto "white people". And it's not accidental. It's a coordinated effort to get hold of a rising voting bloc that's historically very conservative.

If you live in California you might already recognize the difference between Norteno and Sureno (speaking colloquially, not referring to the gangs using those words as their names). If you've been paying attention to folks like Enrique Tarrio, Raphael Ted Cruz, and George "This is My Name This Month" Santos, you'd see it happening elsewhere too.

Latinos who don't embrace their Latino culture while they're here in America are being indoctrinated the same way they did the Irish and Italians before them. Remember neither of those groups were "white" when they first arrived in America either. The inner circle already accepted them as White People, they're just working on their adherents now. Ask yourself why so many second generation Mexican-American immigrants are hesitant to call themselves Mexican. Nope, they'll use Latino though. They've internalized that word as what the white people mean by it, it's a dirty word in that context.

And this is the effect of culturally ingrained racism. We saw it with Irish, Italians, we see it with Black Americans, and we see it with Mexican Americans too. The patterns are right there and obvious.

If his diet can't do the job, what could a mortal like myself do after all?

Alt-right: These people want literal genocide.

"Leftists": These people want healthcare and affordable housing and a true living wage and perhaps not to be afraid of dying every time they interact with police.

You : these two extremes are both untenable, there's a compromise here we can all agree on.

You don't come off as enlightened, you come off as ignorant. Edit, yep he's just a regular, cowardly fascist. Honestly I have more respect for the swastika wearing khaki boi than I do for these pitiful little trolls. At least the guy wearing a swastika has the conviction and the balls to say what he actually thinks. He's wrong, he's awful, but at least he isn't a fucking coward too.

Block the guy, reader, he wants to waste your time and energy and frustrate you. That's his goal.

I really hate the label AI. They're data models, not intelligence - artificial or otherwise. It's PAI. Pseudo Artificial Intelligence, which we've had since the 80s.

The thing is that these data models are, in the end, fed to algorithms to provide output. That being the case it's a mathematical certainty that it can be reversed and thus, shown to be from such an algorithm. Watermark or not, if an algorithm makes a result, then you can deduce the algorithm from a given set of it's results.

It wouldn't be able to meaningfully distinguish 4'33" from silence though. Nor could it determine a flat white image wasn't made by an algorithm.

I think what we're really demonstrating in all this is just exactly how algorithmically human beings think already. Something psychology has been talking about for a longer time still.

This is grifting advertisers.

If a company is advertising on Twitter they are paying these people. One step removed, it isn't even a stretch. Advertisers on Twitter need to be bombarded with complaints. It's the only way anything changes.

I read an article, a recent one, about a kind of tree being "discovered" by some European research team. Within the article, it said the people who lived in that particular forest had known about that kind of tree for ages. They had multiple names for it, uses, etc.

Yet without any irony at all ... They attributed the "discovery" to this European researcher.

A coordinated and effective cyber attack could cripple infrastructure, it's actually a thing to be concerned about. There's a reason we banned certain Chinese chip manufacturers products from being used within government hardware. If you think there's not an actual threat you're not paying attention.

For the record, OP posted the article title and not a question of their own.

Yup. Remember this when they tout how threads "already has millions of users". They're all zombie accounts.
