For me the biggest problem were the cheesy one-liners. It was like an 80s buddy movie rather than an Alien movie. But it's possible that those could be easily edited out.

The main offenders were Ron Pearlman's lines as well as the general running the place - he had some goofy expressions and outbursts. Also J.E Freeman as Dr. Wren had some campy moments.

But the visuals were great, I thought and the story had some good elements in it, such as the alien in captivity seemingly testing the scientist through the glass. The backstory of the relationship between the pirates and the military made sense.

What would you keep, what would you cut to make it far less cheesy and more dignified?

Only 12% of African Americans voted Trump IIRC. The majority of European Americans did vote for him. Don’t let them hide what they are behind the decency of others.

Billionaires like Peter Thiel have thought long and hard about why they can’t get everything they want. He has effectively said that his own policies would be so unpopular that nobody would ever vote for them, but that he has found the internet to be an effective tool to sway populations.

So what about us makes the world so good that they can’t fulfil their darkest desires? Social cohesion, knowledge and empathy.

What have himself, Muskrat et all have inundated us with over the last few years is their “antidote” to that: stranger danger, disinformation and “empathy is weakness”. It’s the playbook of the billionaire psychopath and people don’t realise they are dancing to their tune.

An immersive, 25 chapter work with very positive reviews. It continues from the end of Terminator 3.
