Incredible. Given how expensive dental treatment is in a lot of places, this could be revolutionary for people who can't afford regular checkups and/or treatment plans. It's not going to be a replacement but it can certainly mitigate a lot of damage.

I'm not a fan of it. I think live service games generally comes with battle passes, which are essentially preordering DLCs. DLCs that have not been announced, with no details and nothing else. They also often offer some exp bonus or in game items. I think this has an impact on how the game is balanced. The bonuses can't be game breaking so they have to nerf the base game experience to make it "valuable".

I think it can be done well if the base game is free. Dota 2 and csgo are good examples of it because the bonuses that come with battle passes are mostly cosmetic, and they help the support game development. If the base game is £60, then the company can fuck off. I prefer standalone games with expansion packs being released at a later time. Being able to play offline is also great, even though I am rarely without Internet access.

Awareness is oversimplifying it but it's a necessary first step for any major movement/revolution. What can one hope to achieve if people won't acknowledge the problem? Greta highlighted the importance of climate change to many people around the world, and I'm sure she's a role model to many as well. Many more people are plant based/vegan now compared to 5 years ago. Companies are profit driven so every little change from people makes a difference. It's the power of awareness that can push people to change for their new found beliefs.

Nepalese momo. It should be available in any Nepalese restaurant since it's a staple dish in the country

I failed my first few rolls, resulting in me missing out on a party member.. I didn't even know until I reached act 2. Then I lost another party member due to missing some dice rolls. Then I ran into a huge mess due to a bug, where some enemies were not waiting for their turn. They straight up ran into the battle, and ganked an important npc; resulting in a really really bad result (affected one of the companion quests I wanted to see to the end). I blame the bug for that result so I save scummed that. I have no regrets though since the game forced that problem on me.

Yup. Fuck Ubisoft. The last game from them was Child of light, and it will stay that way.

I've found that it's easier to avoid misery than it is to find joy. Some tips given here reflect that as well. Cut off toxic people from your life. Don't dwell on tiny things for the full day.

I have an example. I went to get some coffee yesterday. There was a man in front of barista counter. The barista asked me for my order, and my instinct was to ask if he had been served. I didn't think twice about it. She got visibly upset at me for having the audacity to ask him. She took my order but she continued to mumble audibly about how she gave eye contact, and she knew how to do her job, etc. As if my remark towards the man belittled her experience and skills.

She had no idea what my intent was, but she assumed the worst. For doing so, she ruined her own day with it. It's all about perspective.

She also ruined my coffee but I didn't let that ruin my day either haha.
