I'm not sure they had to incite it. It was going to happen either way, the media just made it more palatable. The American people had little to no choice in the matter.

I'm not sure how you'd be able to sudo su (user name) if that users shell was /usr/sbin/nologin. Maybe you were doing something else if that was indeed the assigned shell.

Been meaning to make the switch for years now. Was going to do it before Windows 11 either way. Second full screen popup telling me I should switch to Windows 11 I downloaded an ISO, put it on a USB and haven't looked back. NVMe made it that much faster.
