China won’t attack Russia. They’ll simply start moving there and gaslight that it’s Chinese land.

The safeguards, for anyone like me who didn’t know about them until now.

Basically, the guidelines include:

  1. Ensuring AI systems are safe before public release.
  2. Building AI systems to address issues like bias and discrimination.
  3. Using AI to enhance security and protect privacy.
  4. Sharing best practices across the industry.
  5. Increasing transparency and providing clarity about AI's capabilities and limitations.
  6. Reporting on the risks and impacts of AI.

How about holding an investigation first? You know, just to see where the wrongdoing happened and who actually perpetrated it. (It just might have been a bitter developer or something.)

Also, if people want to use windows, it’s their choice and their consequences. Government and corporate services might do well to consider Linux, but most people don’t even know what a command line is.

They will still be selling user data whether you opt for the ad supported tier or not, so get used to that.

Spencer went on to say that while he personally didn’t like making the decision to close Tango, his job was ultimately to keep Xbox profitable.

Fuck off, Spencer. I can imagine there are other reasons why Xbox is struggling with profitability. Keeping games pass afloat by pushing day-1 releases for one, then spending obscene globs of money to buy exclusivity from massive, globally recognized franchises instead of investing in innovative new studios to foster a stable of great, fresh exclusives in the future.

Just curious, does anyone know which studios bought-out by Microsoft got better after being purchased?

Namely, the fact that Apple charges a "Core Technology Fee" for developers who want to "steer" users to offers outside of its App Store. There's also an additional 3% that goes to Apple if a developer uses its payment processor.

  1. Take a learners dictionary and pair it with an advanced one.
  2. Pic some controversial words.
  3. Compare verbs against nouns, nouns against adjectives so the definitions aren’t actually the same but look like they should be.
  4. Completely make up the last “simple” definition so it seems like you are making some profound point that’s actually just a dumb comment.
  5. Call the side with the stupid comment you made up “pop psychology” so people can see in plain sight what gaslighting actually looks like.

Well that’s unfortunate, because Nintendo has a terrible track record for game preservation.

Reddit definitely doesn’t seem like the kind of business that might utterly disregard such requests while insisting outwardly that they are complying.
