Hi! Thanks for creating Blorp! I love that there’s people out there making these apps out trying to make the internet a better place. Here’s the original issue I had: https://piefed.social/post/1871929 I tried switching the filter and it still behaves the same. The interesting thing is that it seems to only be an issue for that specific community. Other communities from the same server are working fine.

Refreshing manually does nothing. To double check I set the filer to Top 1 Day, which causes the feed to come up empty which indicates to me that the posts somehow aren’t making it to the client app for some reason.

Hello everyone,

I’m new to the Fediverse and loving it so far! I’m trying out all the client apps on my iPhone and I ran into an issue where the latest posts for some communities will not show up on the client apps, but they do show up on the PieFed web app. Screenshots below will show what I mean. The filters in both screenshots are set to show newest posts.

Screenshot from Mlem. Same result on Voyager, Interstellar, and Blorp as well. “Newest” post here is from 3 days ago.

This seems to happen only with some Lemmy communities and most work fine on the client apps. So is the PieFed web app just superior in some way that it can more reliably fetch new posts while the client apps miss some stuff? Hoping someone with some technical knowledge can chime in.

FitNotes on iOS. Pretty sure it’s on android also. Not FitNotes 2(another app with the same name), but FitNotes. It’s a one time fee, no subscription or account to set up, super basic (in a good way) and FLEXIBLE. Super easy to create or edit custom exercises and workouts. Can export data to csv. Can track weight, rep, time, RPE, body measurements. Very solid app. Not sponsored lmao just really like the app. CqkoZKebrpCrV7h.jpeg

Poor little guy. Nature really is brutal.

If you’re making content for fun and not trying to make money off it then PeerTube would be the way to go. You can help build the catalog. If you want to make money then unfortunately YouTube is kinda the only way.

For me it’s because I have an iPhone and Windows has at least some compatibility with it, mainly for syncing my local music collection to my phone so I can listen with Apple Music offline. While it can be a pain, at least it works. If I were to use Linux I would need a way to transfer files between Linux and iPhone so I can listen to my music on a third party iPhone music player app, which I also haven’t found a good solution for yet. If anyone has any suggestions I’m all ears!

Love this. Wish we could do this in the U.S. someday.

Told myself I would read the book before watching the movie. Let’s see if that actually happens. Either way excited for the movie.
