Great news: I love Blorp!

All my problems are fixed on v1.9.16 (login and missing profile).

Somewhere between trying to follow our convo and hating on mobile web, I got on TestFlight. My fat fingers downloaded v1.9.11 then I saw your reply and got on v1.9.16.

Should I be on v1.9.14 instead?

ohhhh my….. I’m able to attach a photo to a reply?!? I love blorp! :-)

That sounds most logical and makes perfect sense; most apps go through the same thing. Mobile phone users already know the drill anyway: Delete, Reinstall, Turn On/Off. Best of all, there is a person behind the app.

I apologize for sending the second screenshot on matrix but I wasn’t able to do it here. I am new to PieFed and still trying to learn. No offense to anyone but the web version sucks.

I also did a lot of deleting on my phone; it may or may not matter but it reached almost 70% of storage. I will take a look at TestFlight this weekend. Thanks again for your patience and time. Good luck.

There’s no Lemmy. The default/guest account is lemmy.ml and it’s just blank, nothing loads (it looks like it’s trying to load - pulsating).

Usually when you start typing, it will populate the list of instances but that’s not even happening (lemmy or piefed).

I haven’t blocked anything or anybody here on piefed; currently using Brave for iOS. My most recent delete/reinstall was 10 minutes ago.

First of all, thank you for the transparency report. Unfortunately, I’m having login issues (iOS 18.6.2); blorp app is blank and not loading anything.

Already did the usual: delete, reinstall, delete again, shut off phone, reinstall. I also saved screenshots (of nothing, not even an error message).

Everything was fine until I opened the app this afternoon; I updated my phone last night. Thank you for all your hard work and sharing your app.

It’s done/sent coming from Chrys Anthem. Thanks for walking me through matrix and not making me choose between the red or blue pill.

Reinstalled blorp, took lots of screenshots but unable to send to you because of new account and low reputation. Gonna figure out what matrix is. Thanks so much for being patient. I’m still trying to figure out my way around here.

Log in issue: (not sure where to post this, sorry if wrong place). I can’t log in on blorp app for ios (18.6.1). Phone and app are updated. Deleted blorp, reinstalled, still can’t log in. Turned off phone (about 5 minutes) then reinstalled blorp and tried to log in again and nothing, no error message just lemmy.zip. I was able to log in briefly yesterday after creating piefed account but tried to log in today and nothing.
